Living in Qatar has provided Pervez with the most unique auditory experience. The sound of water splashing at the Corniche, the music on Dhow boats, calls to prayer and amalgamation of voices in the souq, all construct a soundscape representative of a city rooted in its culture yet progressive in its vision. She has recorded the rhythms of Doha in present day and woven them wave by wave using the Bedouin weaving technique of Al Sadu.
