Qatar National Library
Miralem Dedic is an architect-photographer who resides in Doha. His passion for photography started ten years ago when he realized he could use it as an instrument to record memories of his native country and take them with him. His research focuses on the anthropization of natural spaces by human action.
Miralem's photographs depict the extraordinary architecture of Rem Koolhaas's Qatar National Library, opened earlier this year. The photographs emphasize the geometrical shapes created by the interior and exterior of the building, which takes its inspiration from folded paper.
