Landmarks of Qatar Mk. VIII, The Faculty; Landmarks of Qatar Mk. VII, The Courtyard
Anthony Romblon discovered his love of photography in Qatar, where he has lived since 2009. A photographer for only three years, he focusses on the modernist buildings by world-renowned architects that now populate the Doha urban landscape.
Anthony's photographs depict the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Mosque of Education City, by Mangera Yvars Architects. The minarets of the mosque rise to 90m and also indicate the qiblah. Anthony's series of Landmarks of Qatar was awarded third place in the International Photographer of the Year competition in 2016.
