Ammar is a Yemeni interdisciplinary artist based in Doha. His work explores connotations of time, space and belonging.
Anaj is the bird character of Qatari artist Fatima Mohammed (seen in the artists section of the exhibition). Her portrait celebrates the power of the female, the mask (with its suggestion of hijab) symbolizing the achievement of women in the region.
Mesaieed is a city only a 40km south of Doha, but very different in character and in the midst of an identity crisis. The story of its inhabitants, as told in Limbo, is one of an attempt to find a home in a transient place that hasn't resolved itself.
