On September 3, Manege hosted a lecture by Aleksey Anatolyevich Yekaykin on the theme “What is happening with the climate and what we can expect in the 21st century”.
At the lecture, we covered modern global climate changes and their causes. The speaker discussed the human effect on the climate and natural climactic factors, as well as how climate changes affect the environment and human life. We have considered at what might happen with the climate during the 21st century. At the lecture, participants learned how humans can influence the future climate scenario.
The speaker, Aleksey Yekaykin, is a glaciologist who has participated in several Antarctic expeditions. He is a candidate of geography and senior researcher at the Arctic and Antarctic Scientific Research Institute.
