On April 14, candidate in art studies and docent at St Petersburg State University’s Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences Ivan Chechot gave a lecture at Manege, sponsored by Masters School.

The lecture is part of the supplemental programme for the Stillness. Russian Classical Sculpture from Shubin to Matveyev exhibition.

The topics of discussion included the specific features of sculpture as an art form, as well as the influence other types of art have had on sculpture and vice-versa.
