As a part of the additional programme for the exhibition project “Beauty: Plus-minus”, there will be a presentation on Dmitry Severyukhin’s book, Three Centuries of the St. Petersburg Art Market or the Prose of Artistic Life. The history of the St. Petersburg art market from the time of Pyotr I to today is outlined in documentary prose. Published as if addressed to specialists––to art researchers, historians, sociologists, gallery managers, curators, and a wider readership interested in the history of Russian culture and contemporary artistic life.
