On 4 October, Manege hosted a private presentation of architecture critic Maria Elkina’s book, “Understanding Architecture”.
“Understanding Architecture” is a guidebook for world architecture, the goal of which is to teach readers how to understand what they are seeing with the help of concrete examples. The book talks about architecture from a professional point of view, but is written with everyday readers’ experiences in mind. All examples are given with illustrations of the works of world-famous architect Sergei Tchoban.
