This talk will present the Victoria and Albert Museum's most ambitious project since its founding: V&A East, a new two-site institution due to open in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London in 2023. At V&A East, a new museum designed by award winning Irish architects O'Donnell and Tuomey, and a visionary open-access collection and research centre designed by New York's acclaimed Diller, Scofidio + Renfro, will form part of East Bank, the Mayor of London's new initiative to create a world-class campus for culture and education at the heart of London's most diverse communities and thriving creative scene.
V&A East project will be presented to the Russian public for the first time during the Forum. The event is part of the New Now at Manege public programme, curated by Anna Kirikova.

New Now is Manege’s public programme on most recent developments in contemporary culture. It offers talks by heads of brand-new museums and cultural hubs, newly appointed directors of established institutions on the new policies, as well as on the latest curatorial achievements.
