Manege and NonFiction.film have joined together on a project to bring you a collection of documentary films about people who have forever changed the course of cultural development. The selection includes a two-hour journey through the amazing world of Agnès Varda, France’s pioneering New Wave director; a historic conversation between two great directors – François Truffaut and Alfred Hitchcock; the 1960s revolution in culture through the eyes of British actor Michael Caine; portraits of fashion icon and grande dame of punk rock Vivienne Westwood; and David Lynch’s personal monologue about the “inner empire”.
