On 20 September, Manege will host the fourth meeting as part of its CreativeMornings international project. This month’s theme is “The Muse”, and artist Asya Marakulina will use her lecture to speak about the nature of inspiration and where it can be found, the creative process, what causes an epiphany, and how to search for new ideas every day.
A free breakfast will be offered to guests from 8:30, with the lecture beginning at 9:00. CreativeMornings lectures have been and will continue to be free to attend. However, the number of places is limited, and advance registration is required. Guests may register here.
CreativeMornings is an international non-commercial project aiming to provide open lectures together with breakfast. Events are held in more than 180 cities worldwide, including Helsinki, New York, London, Paris, Tel Aviv, and Berlin. Lectures are given once a month by leading local professionals working in a range of areas and industries, including academics, businesspeople, screenwriters, film directors and artists. Among the many prominent figures who have already given lectures in St. Petersburg are Meduza publisher Ilya Krasilshchik, musician Oleg Garkusha, and director of the Nochlezhka (Homeless Shelter) charity organisation Grigory Sverdlin.
