Manege will host a meeting with members of Recycle Group to mark the opening of the installation You Have Reached Your Destination in the square outside the exhibition hall. The talk will cover the main stages of the artists’ work, as well as their latest experiments with the dematerialisation of sculptural forms and their transition to augmented reality.
Artists Andrey Blokhin and Georgy Kuznetsov will talk about Recycle Group’s stages of creation, from a conceptual recycling of subjects from art history and taking a retro-futuristic look at technological progress, to studying the ontology of machines.
You Have Reached Your Destination is located on the square by Manege’s western facade, and consists of two parts – physical and virtual. It explores the boundaries of confrontation between human and artificial intelligence. The project is being supported by the Triumph Gallery (Moscow).
Admission to the artist talk is free. However, the number of spaces is limited and advance registration is required.
