This meeting with the AES+F art collective will be dedicated to the “history of the future” in their projects, beginning with 1996’s Islamic Project and going up to the staging of the opera Turandot in 2019. It will take place as part of the AES+F. Predictions and Revelations exhibition.
Predictions and Revelations is an exhibition by AES+F organised by the Manege Central Exhibition Hall and the Triumph Gallery. AES+F is made up of Tatiana Arzamasova, Lev Evzovich, Evgeny Svyatsky and Vladimir Fridkes. Despite working at the intersection of photography, video and digital technology, the collective maintains a keen interest in traditional techniques, particularly sculpture, as well as painting, drawing and architecture.
AES+F: “We exist in a space where there are no longer cultural boundaries, where myths and traditions are separated from their foundations and exist together in a modern virtual space. The world is experiencing a cultural osmosis, whereby everything gradually mixes together. Our work reflects this new reality.”
The public talk is being held with the support of Sobaka.ru.
Admission is free by advance registration. The number of spaces is limited.
